RV60 reflection : Sarah

RV60 is very important because it celebrates the 60th anniversary of our school. Not many schools can have such a long history. Thus, this is a very significant milestone for our school. It is also an event where all Rvians can come together to look at how far we have come for the past 60 years. For the event, I was participating in the wushu mass display. During the preparation for this huge event, the training hours were long and we had to stay back many days during our school break to learn and repeat the performance moves until we were very sure of them. Some students felt very reluctant to go for the practices because it could be quite boring, so they did not come for the trainings. I feel that this is very irresponsible because the ones that makes an effort to attend the practices knows the moves for the performance and they do not. This causes inconvenience to everyone as the moves will have to be taught to them. We should possess the positive attitude about rv60, instead of dreading it.However, in the end, the final performance was very enjoyable and it was a memorable experience for me. This is a one and only event in the history of River Valley. Thus, I am very proud to be participating in it.This event is important to me because the school has done a lot for us, so it is only right for us to be proud of our school's achievements and give back to the school. I am proud of my school because it is the only IP government and Special assistance plan (SAP) school. The school also has a big compound, so there are many facilities in our school. Our school also has many student-initiated events that I really enjoy.
