From the exercise, we can conclude that our lifestyle in singapore is considered much more fortunate than those in Africa. the kids in africa are so poor that they usually starve and have to scavenge for food. this is unlike singaporean's lifestyle because we have food readily available and yet we still choose to waste food. we should appreciate our life in singapore because we get to live in proper houses and receive education. perhaps to help those in need, we could volunteer to help out or donate money for them because they really need it. 

i feel sad for the photographer of the picture because many people kept pressuring him on why he did not save the child. thus, causing his suicide due to depression. i feel that people should empathise during the situation and not put the blame on the photographer.
