Individual Blog Post: Sarah Ong

Hi! I’m Sarah.

Many people think that I am like a tortoise. Most may think that the tortoise is slow. However, have they ever thought of how the tortoise won the hare in the race? “Slow and steady wins the race” I tend to do work slower than others so that I know that I did my best and did not just rush through the work. I try not to be deterred by setbacks and continue to learn and move on.

Being in a sport CCA allows me to be self-motivated and be proactive. I have learnt to never give up and that it takes effort to achieve my goals. I also have a competitive edge which drives me to push myself to a greater height.

Few people know that the kitchen is my favourite hideout. The food in the kitchen helps to lighten my mood. It also allows me to have fun and work together with my family to cook a meal. The kitchen will remind me of how I am part of my family, thus giving me the motivation to work hard to make them proud.
