This is a picture of drums on the field and this picture was taken after one of the RV60 rehearsals. I chose this picture as this picture portrayed our efforts for the big RV60 event. I was part of the 24 festive drums and my team and I practiced hard for the event. Although we had to come back for practice every now and then, even in the school holidays, I always tried to put in my best for each of the practices and rehearsals.
This big school event has made a great impact on my school life. It has certainly helped me to make more new friends and bond together more as a team as drumming needs teamwork.
Honestly, there are some tough times when you feel like giving up as there are just so many practices and rehearsals to turn up for and especially when it takes up a huge chunk of your free time and effort. For the first few weeks of school, the school actually gave up the afternoon time slot for us to practice our rehearsals. We had to stay back in school almost every day until 6 to practice. However, at the end of the day, we still persevered and made this RV60 a success.
This was my first time ever participating in such a big event and I was very much pleased to know that I, in some way or another, contributed to the whole RV60 performance. In a nutshell, this has been a interesting experience for me.
