Economy-Aging Population 321-Lim Xin Yi

3 things I learnt

1. I learnt that a one-child policy is used to decrease the population of the country
2. I learnt that the two-child policy is implied to maintain the current population
3. China has realise that its population is decreasing rapidly. Thus it took away its one-child policy and implied the two-child policy.

2 perspective that I gained

1. The policy's effect will only be seen in the long run
2. The chinese normally would want to have a son to carry on the family name and thus they would have more and more children until a son is born

1 question that I have

1. How would the two-child policy affect China in the long run?
