Why Singapore must not be complacent-XinYi

I think Singapore should not be complacent because although we are top few in GDP and a lot of other areas, we might not always be the first as all the other countries are also developing currently. If we are complacent and we do not continue to improve, other countries will take over us soon. We should be humble and help other countries if we have the capability and not laugh at them. We are now a first world country but in the past, we were also once a third world country after the WW2. We developed quickly not just because of our capabilities. Not only did we had a great prime minister Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, but because we are a small country and easy to manage also. Other countries are so much bigger than us and of course it is harder to take care of.
